Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions apply to all works carried out by Prism Catering Equipment Solutions Ltd unless otherwise agreed in writing.
1. General
By instructing Prism Catering Equipment Solutions Ltd to carry out works, the Client agrees to these Terms & Conditions.
2. Working Hours
Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 08:00–16:00, excluding bank holidays.
Works carried out outside of these hours may be subject to additional charges.
3. Call-Out & Labour
A call-out charge includes attendance, fault diagnosis, and the first hour of labour.
Additional time is chargeable thereafter and billed in 30-minute increments.
Chargeable time is measured from arrival on site to completion of works and return to the vehicle.
4. Quotations
All quotations are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.
Quotations are based on visible and accessible conditions at the time of pricing.
Additional works or faults identified may be quoted separately.
5. Repairs & Additional Works
Repair works relate only to the identified fault.
Additional faults or works identified during attendance may be chargeable.
Return visits required to complete repairs may be chargeable unless otherwise agreed.
6. Parts & Materials
Parts are chargeable in addition to labour unless otherwise stated.
Where parts are supplied by the Client, no warranty is provided on those parts or associated labour.
Parts availability is subject to third-party suppliers.
7. Installation Works
Installation pricing is based on agreed scope and visible site conditions.
The Client is responsible for ensuring site readiness, access, and suitability of existing services (gas, electrical, ventilation, drainage).
Delays caused by site conditions or third parties may result in additional charges.
8. Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM)
PPM visits are based on the agreed asset list.
Additional assets identified may be chargeable.
Equipment that cannot be accessed or safely inspected will be recorded as not inspected.
9. Access & Abortive Visits
Where access is not available, or works cannot proceed due to site conditions, incorrect instruction, or late cancellation, an abortive visit charge may apply.
Waiting time due to delays on site may also be chargeable.
10. Safety
The Company reserves the right to isolate or disconnect equipment deemed unsafe.
The Company is not liable for any operational disruption resulting from safety-related shutdowns.
11. Gas Safety Inspections
Gas safety inspections reflect the condition of equipment at the time of inspection only.
Certification does not guarantee future performance or ongoing safety.
12. Warranty
Labour is guaranteed for 90 days from completion.
Parts are subject to manufacturer warranty.
Warranty does not apply to misuse, poor maintenance, or external factors.
13. Payment Terms
Invoices are payable within 30 days unless otherwise agreed.
The Company reserves the right to charge interest and recovery costs on overdue invoices.
14. Liability
Prism Catering Equipment Solutions Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss, including loss of business, revenue, or operational downtime.
Liability is limited to the value of the works carried out.
15. General
The Company reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.
